I heard Eboni saying it on RHofNY (I know, lame source) and didn't know what she was talking about so I looked it up. Dictionary.com Slang says:
"A kiki is a social gathering, usually for the purpose of casually “kicking back,” gossiping, and sharing stories. It is historically connected to LGBTQ communities. Alternatively, kiki is also the name of a ballroom drag subculture that celebrates gender nonconformity, racial diversity, and sexual openness."
Have you heard it and do you use it?

The only time I've ever heard the term kiki used was here when people were talking about used furniture magnate Kirker.

The Scissor Sisters did a song about it, I think? And then Sarah Jessica Parker "sang" the song on Glee. I think that may have been the last episode I ever watched.

Yes, I’ve heard of it thanks to the 2012 Scissor Sisters song that R2 referenced.
Nope, don’t use it.

The last time I heard the word was probably in the 1990s when I saw Paris is Burning, I didn't know it had a resurgence.

Many of the queens of Drag Race use it. Or used to. The show's been on forever now.

As a late 90’s clubkid, we used it in mixed company to allude to taking drugs while out- like a bump of K or E and “carrying on” while high. Sometime during the aughts the term became more mainstream and diluted.
“Gurl, she was on a mad kiki last night”.

I tried it on the NY Times’ s Spelling Bee.
It was REJECTED.
I complained.

OMG I feel so old and fogeyish. I like the concept of what it is but it sounds so silly to say.

The Real Housewives of Potomac seem to use the phrase "having a kiki moment" to mean giggling with friends, usually while making fun of something or someone.
